Inspiration!

ok, so since we have moved into this awesome 3-bedroom house, Ive managed to finally create an office/scrapbook room! Im so stoked! While I was in Germany, I took up scrapbooking, and I LOVE IT. I consider myself a pretty... ok for the love of God... what is the dang alliteration catch phrase.. that is like silly sally.. and then there is fertile myrtle.. ugh.. Its something like that but its for being crafty... I have stopped in the middle of this dang blog to flippin ask everyone that is still up.. what is the phrase I am thinking of. JEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ! anyhow... So I consider myself crafty.. we will keep it at that for now, and anyhow, Ive been itchin to have my own space. Since our claim was finalized last week, from some of our household items being damaged when we moved from Germany to the US, I got to set-up our Study. Our old kitchen table which is the best table ever for scrapbooking, cause you can spread out. We got it at Ikea...with the leaf in it, it will sit 10 people, yeah.. its pretty awesome. And a lil incite on scrapbooking these days... there is a LOT of small add-ons, trinkets, buttons, glitter and whatnot, that MUST stay organized with my OCD ass.. so I found a lil inspiration... and here she is....I cant wait!! Ive managed to find those lil drawers in that picture. All it is, is like a hardware organizer, that you would put nails, and screws and washers and all that in. Im just doing my research on trying to find the dang things in black. Right now Lowes, Target, H.Depot, Walmart, all have them in gray. Not going to match anything.. hello! I want black ones! So Im heading to Sears this week, to check them out. But anywhos.. I was telling my mom about this room, so I had to post.
Well Im off to walk the puppies..

Smartest Woman Alive!

Its that crazy Sara Lee, I tell ya! First of all... she not only whips up a mean Cheesecake-which you can get by the dozen at your local grocery store, but she's also gone into the ice cream makin' business! No lie! Those goons at Breyers got ol Sara to throw a lil cheesecake in their ice cream, and OMG... you wouldnt believe how freakin AWESOME this stuff is.Being that Im hormonal-ladies we all know we crave the sugar during that time of the month-So I bent a lil on my whole "eat better in 2009" law and snatched me a half gallon of this sugary bliss. I swear there was this beaming glow coming from it as it was the last one, on the bottom, of the freezer shelf.. haha! And as soon as I crammed a McDouble down my throat,-from the $1 menu, and its the kids size cheeseburger, so not only saving money, but calories WOOT! *remember the law* - I scooped 2 scoops of my newly found bliss.. and almost couldnt believe how awesome it tasted.
Words of wisdom... next time you feel froggy, or groggy... go out and buy some of this stuff, your worries will all slip away..... haha

Near Death Experience!

***For some of you, youve heard this story already.. but I will sum it up for the ones that dont know.
So yesterday (Wednesday) --well let me back track further... Mike is away right now @ Ft. Polk, LA, and he wont be home till after the 15th (thats a story in itself!), So Ive had my share of "walking duties" the past week or so..Anyhow.. Mike usually walks them in the mornings, and I take up evening duties. But since Mike has been gone, its like they wont poop for me.... like Im not their usual "morning walker" so it messes them all up. AAAAAAnyways! ha!
So Astro hasn't pooped all day, right... and its about 7pm by now, and I know he needs to... he's just got to find the "perfect spot", as always.
-sidenote- the weather that day had been super crazy! rain...sun...windy... calm... rolling clouds...40 degrees out.. 65 degrees... really weird.-
So Im walking... and walking...and walking... and the wind is blowing and blowing.. and blowing... and has no sign of letting up. Im talkin 35mph winds.. with gusts up to like 40 or so. And behind our house is like this park, with all these pine trees.. and its quite nice during the day to walk them down this way. So I head down there, thinkin there are plenty of trees for Astro to find his "perfect spot".
Well I am lookin up at these pine trees as the wind is blowing them from left to right, like they are weightless...I hear this crackin noise..and I think to myself.. dang these trees sound like they are about to crack in half.. I better get outta here. And wouldnt ya know it.. I turn and Astro has decided to take a crap right about now.. and the cracking has become louder behind me.... I turn my head and begin to hear this tree about 30-40 feet from me crackle at the roots.. and I just knew that S.O.B. was about to fall over on me!
Mid-poop.. I start to run away from this tree, in hopes that I will miss it as its shouting "Tiiiimmmmmmmmber!" from its inner roots..
and again.. wardrobe played a part in my hustle as my life flashed before my eyes (Crocs™, baggy sweat pants, a scarf, a beanie, and NO BRA!!!) Not the best "running" gear if ya know what I mean.
So Im literally DRAGGING both of the dogs.. (astro still hunched over pooping) as this tree halfway uproots, and totally snaps at the base of it, and THANKFULLY falls over in the OPPOSITE direction from which I was scurring away!

Thats all I can say!
It totally threw me for a loop.. as I thought to myself, "Did this shit just happen??" lol Well as the what-ifs took over I came home and hopped in my truck and went up to Checkers, to get a old-fashion chocolate shake! HA~! Fat girl gotta sulk a lil! LOL
So overall, I was reeeeeeally lucky. And going to check out the damage this morning was really cool of course because it again made me think... gosh I cant believe that damn thing timbered the other way.. what if the wind would have blown it towards me. Would I have survived that crap!??

Samsung says unveils word's slimmest TV

SEOUL (AFP) — South Korea's Samsung Electronics on Monday unveiled what it says is the world's slimmest LCD (liquid crystal display) TV.

The new product, measuring only 6.5 millimetres (0.26 inch) thick, is thinner than any other existing TV set, and even slimmer than most mobile handsets, Samsung said in a statement.

Its thickness is one seventh of Samsung's "Bordeaux 850" LCD TVs, which is currently the thinnest on the market, the company said.

The new product, which adopts an LED (light emitting diode) backlighting system, will be on display at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas from January 8 to 11, Samsung added.
